Our Fencing Roots
Joseph Keefe founded his original fence company in the city of Chicago in 1927. Over the following decades, the techniques he pioneered became industry standards that are still used to this day. Sunflower Fence was founded by Joseph Keefe’s grandson, Mathew Surprise. It is built upon the same principles and techniques that forged their family’s legacy. We are proud of the rich heritage left to us by Grandpa Joe and we know he’d be proud of the work we’ve done to serve our clients in Kansas City.

The duration of installing a new fence varies depending on factors like the size, material, and terrain. The typical backyard fence takes 2 to 3 days. If you've got pets and being without a fence for that long is a hassle let us know and we can setup a temporary fence during that time.
Our current average is 3-4 weeks for residential fencing and 5-6 for commercial.

Fence repairs cost much less than a new fence and can add years of life to your existing fence. If your fence is leaning or was damaged in a storm we can help!
